Double Up Food Bucks allows SNAP/EBT shoppers to double their money up to $10 per day to spend on fresh, local fruits and vegetables at participating farmers market, farm stands and/or grocery retailers. It's a win-win-win! It brings more fresh food to Iowans, it puts food dollars in the hands of Iowa's farmers, and it keeps more money here in our local economy.
The Iowa Healthiest State Initiative will use funding from your donation to directly support Double Up Food Buck incentive dollars being distributed to food insecure families in Iowa. Each Double Up Food Buck dollar can be used like cash to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables.
